DESCRIPTION

Ft. Carson Bridge P-85091/O’Connel Blvd.
16’ Span x 10’ Rise Arch Box

To meet the project completion date required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Candalaria Corp. elected to use precast concrete foundations to support the first ECO-SPAN® arch installed in the State of Colorado. This allowed the complete structure to be installed before any cast-in-place concrete was placed or cured, saving valuable time.

Precast arch segments were installed under existing utilities that could not be relocated or temporarily removed.

The new concrete arch system replaced a 17′ span corrugated metal pipe arch.
