DESCRIPTION

Diebold Road Bridge Replacement
28’ Span x 11’ Rise Arch Box

The first ECO-SPAN® arch installed in the State of Indiana, this 28’ span served as a replacement for a short-span prestressed concrete beam bridge as part of a road reconstruction and widening project. The precast concrete headwalls support an Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) guardrail system. The foundation is supported by driven HP 12 x 53 steel piles. Even with poor weather delaying installation, Pioneer Construction was able to meet the required completion date.
